Lisanya Pillay

Artists Bio 

Lisanya is a qualified attorney worked in the legal profession for 10 years before deciding to become a business owner in 2016.  She soon discovered that to become a business owner also buys you a one-way ticket onto a journey of self-discovery.  Being a disciplined, process driven and “lover of spread sheets” personality she soon learnt that being a business owner called for entirely different skills of trust, creativity, courage.  Being self-taught, painting inspired her to express creativity and venture into various methods and techniques she’d never imagined before.  This revealed a side to Lisanya that she cherishes every day to the extent that she also incorporates it in her business services as an offering to develop intuitive awareness in business owners.

Artists Statement 

MY PAINTINGS ARE INSPIRED BY MY FASCINATION FOR INTUITIVE INTELLIGENCE AND SPIRITUALITY. THEY EITHER DEPICT A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE OR THEY REVEAL MESSAGES.  I PAINT IN ACRYLIC USING A VARIETY OF METHODS – FINGERS, BRUSH, SPONGE, COTTON BUDS, BALLOONS.  IN DOING SO IT ALLOWS ME FEEL MY WAY ADVENTUROUSLY AND TO CONSTANTLY SURPRISE MYSELF.
